The Art

Curated by Julia Claire Wallace—performance artist and director of Experimental Action—this series commissions artists to create immersive, site-specific works inspired by The Dome and its unique architecture. Situated within Notsuoh, a historic artist-run space in downtown Houston, the project continues a lineage of experimental art shaped by the city’s DIY character & history.

The Dome at Notsuoh is an artwork and a venue—a platform for innovation and an extension of Houston’s creative & independent spirit-- building in and off of the conceptual social sculpture of the building it resides within.
